i search barred it and i didn't find much on this topic but if it is a repost, live with it

if you don't wear a helmet, just simply, why not

they protect your life. i know this is ns but if Kevin Pearce wasn't wearing a helmet he would've died. i saw him a few weeks ago a hood. even though I'm a skier, I'm stoked he's riding.

i wear one, i figure that everyone who slams their head hard enough do damage without a helmet on would probably wish they were wearing a helmet.

i've hit my head really, really hard twice this past winter, probably wouldn't have been a good time if i didn't have a helmet on. Last fall ended up busting the helmet almost in half. :/

Someone I know died after hitting his head riding urban. It wasn't that hard of a fall and he even kept on with the session. So yeah, I'll always wear a helmet now.

In the backyard, or sessioning a really mellow rail, nope, I don't wear one. Theres no real way you could get seriously hurt in this type of situation (other than some type of freak accident of course).

But if I ever get on the hill, I ALWAYS wear a helmet. Too many risks; features, trees, ice, other skiers. Not worth it to look "steezier".

yes, it's dumb not to. Had a customer lose his daughter last year while skiing. She wasn't going fast was just cruising with some friends and hit a pole and it was enough to kill her. It doesn't matter how they look, they're there for one job, and that's to protect your most important organ.

Some people will find helmets look stupid but if you know someone with a brain injury, you'll strap it on no matter what. Trust me. It kinda annoys me when people don't wear a helmet, I mean shit, there are certain people NS who should be wearing helmets DAILY

other people are unpredictable idiots, i fall a bunch and if im out im usually progressing and trying to push myself so always a yes. mine is a skate helmet so its light and im so used to it, now its just instinctive to go for it when i go out skiing. didnt wear my helmet when i was rollerblading at my local skatepark but at the bigger ones always, once again too many people and bigger features.
