Okay so I recently dyed my 11/12 Wallisch Hotdoggers and since I see so many questions around on how to dye them I decided to make a guide.

FIRST: Decide what color you want, if the color on your boot is darker than the color you want to die, it will NOT work. (this may sound dumb but I saw a couple people asking this question)

SECOND: Decide which portion of the boot you want to dye, for instance I only wanted to dye the main body of mine.

THIRD: Take your boots apart and make sure to keep the pieces organized (I labeled two separate plastic bags R and L to keep track). After this try to clean the portion you want to dye, I just used soap and water and it worked fine. SIDE NOTE: Don't spend forever trying to make sure that the letters stay white, for some reason they do NOT dye.

FOURTH: Find a big tub that you can fit both your boots into, they can be separate but I wanted to keep them together. I used an old garbage bin and cleaned it out with soap and water here:

FIFTH: I then found two large pots to boil the water in so that I could fill the bin in one swoop. The water will take a while to boil because there is a lot of it. Here are the pots I used:

SIXTH: After the water is done boiling quickly move it into the bin and pour the dye in and mix it IN the bin not in the pot. I used two boxes of powder dye and it worked. Then take a pair of pliers and lower the boots in gently to avoid splashing, make sure that they are fully submerged in the dye:

SEVENTH: I let the boots soak for 4 HOURS and it seemed to work fine, I have heard of people going for longer or shorter, I would advise to keep checking and as long as the water is still hot/warm leave them in. You can take the boots out of the dye to check on them if you want, just don't do it to often.

EIGHTH: After the boots are done dying make sure you have an adequate area to take them out, run them under cold water and dry them without getting dye on anything you care about. I did it all outside.

NINTH: This is not a necessary step but I did it anyway, I rinsed out the bin I used for dying and filled it with very cold water. I then put the boots in the bin with the cold water for about 10 minutes to let it solidify here:

TEHTH: take them out of the cold water and let them dry overnight in a good spot. Here:

ELEVENTH: Put them back together! This can be tedious but be patient, you will finish!

there, your boots are no dyed! If the color isn't as dark as you wanted you can always dye them again. If you have any question PM me.

I wish I had pics of some of my old skates which I dip dyed, but alas I have none. Luckily I found a picture of the my little pony dip dyed razor skates amall customized a few years back.

LETS SEE SOMEONE DIP DYE THEIR FULL TILTS!

if you are into designs, believe hot glue can be placed on before dying then peeled off and the original color will stay

its three shades two colors, you dip the top half in purple and the bottom half in light blue and when they over lap it makes the third transition shade.

I wanna dye my dub'6 all black, but using a color photo app I have they looked better how they are. I tryed all sorts of color combos and IMO they look good black n yellow, how the came. I just wanna play around and dye some boots.
