reading week fun
Feb 22nd 2008Reading week and family day here in Ontario has led to some fun stuff at Blue Mountain! Comps, Pow, Rain, Ice, 24th Birthday parties at Jozos, Crazy eclipses, it was real good!

Subject: Fun stuff to do as a family in Stowe?
My family's going uo tp Stowe next week and I was wondering if anyone has reccomendations for some different stuff to do. We go up almost every year so we've done all the touristy stuff like the Rec Path, Ben & Jerry's, Trapp Lodge, etc. So what are some cool thing to do that aren't as well known?

Check out Warren Falls, it's a really awesome swimming hole with lots of different size jumps into deep water just outside of Stowe, maybe 20 or so minutes. I can't remember exactly where it is, but it's right off one of the main roads that passes Warren and Waterbury going into the town of Stowe.

Check out Bingham falls in Stowe. Pretty sweet swimming hole. Also, you gotta stop by cabot to get some free samples

check out the von trapp brewery
swimming holes, hiking around the notch, golf at the mountain course, mountain biking
alpine slide at stowe, hike mansfield, hike up to sterling pond and theres water slides and stuff at smuggs
