I am in the works of putting together a section on this site for El Nino Watch and how it will affect the powder this winter. Just trying to get some feedback on what you would like to see in a long range forecast

It makes me laugh at shit like this because so many people predicted that this past winter was going to be a replica of the year before that. It's something that no one can predict with winter being still a ways off...

Get a 'Customize Your Weather' section, that would be sweet.

I said repeatedly in threads and PMs that the PNW was in for a big winter, based on the -ENSO, -PDO, etc. and that the rest of the country was iffy at best. I also said it would be a highly variable winter in North America, except in the Pacific Northwest, where it would be wet and cold nearly all winter.

Guess what happened?

Definitely not that, cuz it most definitely rained all winter up here.

To the OP good luck competing with NWAC as my primary forecast site. You could take a gander at their site, while right now its not forecasting it's still a good model. They do avy forecasting as well.

Severe Weather Alert!

May 7th 2010

Involving the words WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY. Yuck! The only reason I believe this weather qualifies for alert status is to give gardeners a heads up that their delicate plants may be in danger. Bloody Weather!

La Freestyla -- The Ultimate Freestyle Spring Session in Alta Badia Bright sunshine and T-Shirt weather attracted around 40 snowboarders and freeskiers to the Snowpark Alta Badia for the season ending last Saturday. The riders first rocked the three kickers combo before they showed their creative lines on the different obstacles in the jib park. A lot of spectators relaxed along the contest line in deckchairs and with drinks and watched the nice freestyle spring session.check dolomitisuperski.com for further updates!check snowpark-altabadia.org for more updates
