just curious, do you guys spend money on expensive speed bearings or not ? i always get bones reds or something similar in price and i've always been very happy about em, speed/rolling wise i have no problem keeping up with my longboard buddies and the durability of em doesn't outweigh spending double or triple the price on 'good' bearings cause they last pretty long if you keep em clean and dry .... (modus abec 3's have been lasting me for quite some time on my second board and they still roll super smooth)

I've been wanting to build myself a little shlongboard, something about the penny nickel size. i had a good idea for a press. have a flat piece of base wood on the bottom, all of the veneer and stuff the decks made out of, then some more flat large pieces of wood on top to distribute the weight. then jack up a car that isn't used much, slide all the stuff under a wheel, drop the car back down, and use the weight of the car to press the veneer together. do u think that would work well?
