never seen any of those videos, i have been learned. +k to you sir although because Dane came along in a later point in skiing, he can throw much more difficult tricks. talentwise i'd have to say they are probably equal in the backcountry, and dane MIGHT be a little better in the park. they're both incredible skiers though, no doubt about it.

It all depends if you have a timeline involved. If you say throughout their career who is the best all around skier, I would argue for Candide's sake but give Tanner a very close second. Both have all three X-games golds, both have got gnarly over Chad's, but I give the edge to Candide on slaying backcountry and AK style lines. He just skis better than Tanner in that aspect. All the other people saying best well rounded skier is Delorme or Tudor, man, not a chance. Both of them are amazing skiers, but neither have the kind of results that Candide or Tanner have, although Dane has some good freeskiing results for sure. Obviously park skiing has progressed a lot since Candide was on top in the mid aughts, but Candide is also flirting with 30...a solid ten years older than many of the sports best, which in skiing, is a lifetime. If Candide was 21, there's no question that he'd be one of the slope heavy hitters. I don't mean to be a dick, it's just....man....it's fucking CANDIDE!

Candide's d-spin was back in like 2001(ish) and no one had ever dropped a backcountry air like that. On top of that the jump he used was tiny compared to the jumps they use now on Chad's (especially Tanner and Jon's jump).
