My brother taught himself to weld, and is now building his own bike frames.
I filmed a little bit with him recently.

I won't be in town when he finished this frame, so I just worked with the shots I had. This limited me somewhat, and led to some stuff in the edit I don't really like.


I'll upload it in HD on my other vimeo account (I hit my limit for HD uploads on this account)

Dope!

Song has been used before, I'm pretty sure.

Didn't like the pan at :13, it wasn't smooth.

Last shot was awesome.

Overall that's really cool, I'm interested to see how it turns out.

I'm pretty sure the song is from a Level 1 movie. Realtime is the one. Almost positive on this.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I wish I had more shots to work with, but I haven't been around the whole time he's been working on that frame.

He might want to invest in some actual Shade 5 welding glasses/goggles. He will get eye damage even with just doing Oxy-acetylene.

But really impressive that he is doing Oxy and welding bike frames, although I would question the strength of the weld, he would have to get  really good penetration on the full weld.
