i didn't like the font at the beginning that much, kind of boring

You cut off the riders head a lot. It kind of looked like you were trying to focus on the feet/board, which is totally fine and can work really nicely, but if you're going for that, shoot even tighter. It seemed in between trying to get the whole rider and focussing on the feet/board, pick one or the other.

I don't think the problem is that the song is too boring, just that there isn't a good connection between the clips and the music. Try to work more with the music: cut the shots to the beat, use shots where the action matches whats happening in the song (a little bit more abstract there, haha)
Cleaning up your cuts, less lead in and runout, would help to keep the edit moving. Like at :44 you could eliminate the need for the fade transition by using the song and quicker cuts

I didn't mind the transition at 1:08, but the focus wasn't smooth, you can keyframe a blur to help that, and I would have used a longer crossfade with the second clip starting a bit later.


The main points, IMO, are the framing (tight vs. whole skater) and the disconnect with the song. Pretty good job though!

Thanks, hadn't really thought about that the framing and that it should have been tighter but now I totally agree! Maybe I can try cropping the image just a little bit. Also I will change the font in the beginning before re uploading it, and try to work more on making the cuts mach the music.
