Depends on if you like a more soft ski the halo is a little more softer than the ar7 ar7 is a def good choice i would choose those

U can't butter in ar7's.....it just helps in halos because of the rocker

As mentioned above you should be able to butter ar7s with ease. If you want a more jibby ski I would go for the halos but if you're planning on hitting larger jumps I would go ar7. If you want to hit larger jumps but still ride a softer ski then the THall sounds like a solid bet.

fuck it, if you want rocker, just get the halos. or the alphas if you really think a softer ski is going to make you kill yourself on huge jumps. plus the alphas have a better base apparently.

I've skied on both of them! Had so much fun on the halos, but after beating them up a lot I decided to step it up and get a ski which would work on bigger jumps. So if you want a more playful ski get the halos, if you want to hit bigger features I would say AR7. Love both skis though!
who else thinks its funny that the blunt roll is at 4:20? -Oreopancake

i enjoy my at7s.

IMO, getting halos just to butter is to sacrifice a lot of the tuning qualities that a normal camber ski gives you just to make it easier to do one extra trick.
