so i want to get a slackline, and ive decided on either the Gibbon Classic 25m or the surfline (30m). which is a better option for somebody that is a beginner, but is interested in trying tricks and setting it up over water? can you still bounce and do tricks on the classic?

you can get a pretty good hop on the classic, although ive never used a surfline so i couldnt say which is more dynamic.

classic is best all around. i learned last year and really liked it. easy to walk and lean tricks like swaps and 360s as well as line tricks.

the classic is really easy to learn on... we had 1 set up the other day maybe 10 meters and after 1.5 hours i was able to make it to the other end, and my balance is terrrrrible....

i have a classic and if you have it tight and high enough you can bounce easily, it should be easier to learn on too.

Classic is the best one you can get in my opinion...it dosent really matter which you get, its about the height you put it at and the amount you tighten it which you can change very easily, giving you more bounce for doing tricks or just walking.

I want one of these so bad. If I happen upon $100 I'm definitely picking one up.

The surfline is made to have a lot more sway than an average line, meaning that it is much more difficult to walk across and near impossible to do tricks on.

The Classic is a 2" line that is easy to set up, can be setup at about a foot high no matter how far apart you go, gets taught and is easy to do tricks on. Similar to a trampoline even

I have a classic 15, it works great for walking and tricks. I thought I was going to make my own until I tried a 1 inch, 2 inches is infinitely easier.

the surfline is much better if you want to learn tricks eventually. The pro competitions are usually on surflines. classic line is better for learning.
