Hey everybody,

Im buying a new pair of skis for the 2012/13 season and was looking at the Scratch's.. Im about 5'8" so im buying 167cm and was just wondering how stiff they are. Im about an intermediate skiier and am just coming of afterbangs.

If you're 5'8" I think you would feel a lot better on 174's.

They are quite buttery, not sure how they compare to abangs, but they're a lot more buttery than my Alpha 1's (which I ride at 176, and I'm 5'7").

the good news is: the scratch is hands down the most reviewed ski of all time on NS. everything you need to know is in the search bar with the terms "S4" or "Scratch". It is the gold standard.

My review of the 2012 Rossignol S7s, got a chance to demo them earlier today In Short: -l these skis are an easy to use fun ski for the beginner/intermediate powder skier, they are not the quickest and on the 188s, I found I was wanting more ski ski (bear in mind I'm only 5'9"). THey are responsive and pivoty, I think they would be a good tree-skiing ski, if you're looking to charge big lines go with the super7s
