I'm going to MHSSC session 1 and I have a pair of skis that I wanted to get mounted but didn't have the chance to while at school. I will be driving from NY (where I attend school) to Tucson Arizona (where my family lives) between may 14th and the 20th or so. Not exactly sure on the dates. In NY there arent many shops still open, and i don't think many of them offer ski mounting throughout the summer. Any one have any suggestions as to where I could get my skis mounted? Or if anyone along the way could mount my skis for a fellow NS'er that would be awesome. I'd even pay you like 50$ cash for the help.

Any help is appreciated.

i've got a jig for FKS/Pivots, but I live in philadelphia haha. Not sure if that helps.

i gotta go to durham NC for my sister who is graduating from Duke this year so I could probably take a detour out if you'd be willing to help a friend out. I'll toss you 50 bones for it too

Do it up. KT and I have mounted up a bunch of fks/pivots since that's all we ride, and he's got 8+ years of shop experience.

Just wanted to post this info:   The 2011 EHP have new plastic inserts at the end of the tail. This new design eliminates the steel edge at the end of the tail and increases durability, it also allows for notching a groove for ski touring skin tail clips.   The plastic tail insert has slightly shortened the total length of each ski by 1 cm.  These are the new boot center mounting positions to accommodate for tail inserts and 1 cm shorter overall length:   178 ski center  89 cm, - 6 cm mounting position = 83 cm from tail   185 ski center 92.5 cm, - 6 cm mounting position = 86.5 from tail   192 ski center 96 cm,  - 6 cm mounting position = 90 cm from tail   It is always a good idea to double check the factory marked mounting positions before mounting you new skis.     Enjoy Shredding on you new EHP's!!!   Cheers,   Eric Hjorleifson
