It is ranked in the top 35 in the nation and the top 20 for public universities, more astronauts have come from CU than ANY other school and I personally have always had my lectures taught by a professor, not a grad student. My differential equations and linear algebra teacher last fall was a tenured professor at Cal Tech before coming to CU...so get the fuck out of here with all your ridiculous statements about the caliber of the engineering school. It is much more tight knit than the rest of campus because it is fairly small and you can easily get to know and recognize the people that are your year in your major. Yes, the rest of campus and the other majors are a joke for the most part, there are some exceptions astrophysics is in the top 5 in the nation I believe, but don't apply that to the entire university...thanks
