Anybody have suuuppper good pizza dough recipe? I have the sauce perfected but i cant find any good dough.
you know what active yeast is? because you'll probably need it.(not sure if dry will work) my mom made a pizza with the yeast we had once, but it wasn't too great. it made good bagels though.

on the other hand, i used naan for pizzas once, and it was amazing.

That breakfast sandwich looks quite tasty. I'll have to give it a go sometime with Camembert.

My breakfast sandwich go-to is as follows:

Items Needed:
-English muffin
-Canadian bacon (if no canadian bacon, use thick cut ham)
-High-quality Sharp cheddar cheese (I use Cabot Racer's Edge. Cheap cheddar won't deliver the flavor and your breakfast sandwich will in no way be as orgasmic.)
-Egg

Cut the english muffin in half and lightly butter each side. Fry up an egg sunny-side up in a pan. On each half of english muffin, place a piece of canadian bacon or thick cut piece of ham, a thick slice of the cheddar cheese and then place the cooked egg on top. Place both english muffin halves face up in the hot oven for a minute or two to allow the cheese to melt.

Enjoy it open faced. It's cooked right when the yolk runs just slightly when you cut into the egg.

man just develop your palate, cook without a recipe. i personally enjoy cooking a lot so i watch a lot of food network and then i get in the kitchen and just throw things together and cook it up. after some practice you'll have an understanding of what works together and what doesnt so you just go from there and add your own twists to everything you make. your best bet would be to start from recipes and as you get better you can kinda stray from those recipes and just have fun with it

Beerijtas - Fajitas cooked with beer

Items Needed
-Cast iron skillet
-Chicken breast
-1 can/bottle of beer
-Fajita seasoning
-Hot sauce with good flavor (I prefer Frank's for this)
-Cheddar cheese
-Assorted peppers (green, red, jalapenos)
-Lettuce
-Tortilla shells

Cut your raw chicken breast into smaller bite-sized pieces and place in a container with the fajita seasoing and a bottle/can of beer of choice. The more flavor the beer has, the better. If you can give yourself lead time of a day to allow the chicken to marinate, it is all the better, but not required. Add some hot sauce to reach desired spicyness.

Once you are ready to cook, get your skillet hot and add the chicken/beer mixture to the skillet. Cast iron is preferred here as you will be leaving the pan on the stove on full-blast to boil off all the liquid from the beer (leaving behind the beer flavor).

Once all the liquid has boiled off, add in the assorted peppers that have been chopped up and give it a good mix and remove the pan from the heat.

Serve on tortilla shells with lettuce and shredded cheddar cheese along with salsa (and sour cream if you like it).

Here's my favorite food, own recipe. Serves 2-3.

Walnut-Champignon-Pesto Lasagne

Ing.

Whole grain lasagne
300g champignon mushrooms
100g spinach
1 pot of fresh basil
100g walnuts
3 cloves of gralic
2dl milk
300g (preferably) sundried tomato cream cheese
150g parmesan grated
100g green pesto
salt
black pepper
honey
butter
ample amounts of grated cheese

Instr.

1. Slice mushrooms and fry in butter on a warm pan for a moment, add diced garlic and spinach, fry for about 10 mins (until water evaporates)

2. Add ½ off diced basil, crushed walnuts, 1 tea spoon honey and pinch of salt, mix; take off pan and put aside

3. Heat milk in a pot, add flavored cream cheese, parmesan, rest of basil, and pesto; season with salt and pepper, mix for a moment; put aside

4. Pre-boil lasagne disks few at a time (1 min in boiling water), pour a little milk/cheese mix on bottom of a casserole pan, and start building lasagne; on top of disk first cheese mix, then pesto sauce, then cheese again and another disk. Continue until full.

5. Heat in oven at 200 Celcius for appx. 45-50 minutes.

6. Enjoy.

I'll post pics the next time I make this.

Try - fail - try once more This weekend my wife had a bough that would not raise the way it should and we had to do stuff, so we drove around with a big bowl of dough in the car so that she could check it out every ½ hour.

Fuck yeah. I love making Chicken fajitas marinating the chicken in beer. Gotta use decent beer though of course. Nobody likes chicken that tasted like natty light.

i don't know about here. a lot of my friends bake, and knit, and sew, and all kinds of that stuff. (as hipster as i sound however i'm not.) it probably has a lot to do with the fact that people are so obsessed with being healthy or what they eat, so they automatically assume baked goods are out since they're generally packed with sugar, fats, or whatnots.

i personally love making soups, baking, and making crazy dishes.

that sounds really good, i could never get a sunny side up cooked just right, ill probably try it with an over easy instead.

don't mind all these f00dn00bs, that looks great.

little too much hollandaise for my liking and your pesto is a little on the oily side, but i'm sure it tasted fantastic.

I'm not seeing as many pinknames as I should in this thread...
"Pretty sure your logic is airtight, just like Max Hill's jeans" - .Tom.

"The gypsies acted as lookouts, listening closely for any strange noises with their well-developed ears, which had originally evolved to spot and avoid anything slightly mainstream." - Mike-O

Making things to eat is a manly task, and I feel like the culinary abilities of females have been on the decline. Last weekend a girl was over and she made a fool of herself in the kitchen.

Yesterdays dinner, plaice with pasta and a salad made from tomotoes, red onion and olive-oil. Garnished and seasoned with basil. It was Italy meeting west-coast Sweden. Complete guesswork.

Todays dinner. Chicken with fried "almondpotato", tomatoes, and bearnaise. Fried to chicken in a pan for a few minutes, then threw it in the oven at around 180 degrees (C). Turned out absolutely perfect. Didn't make the sauce myself.

Well lets see...I've been doing a lot more cooking since I got a nutrition class...in the last few days, I made french fries, tortilla chips and guacamole, a crustless quiche, and strawberry milkshakes.
Do you happen to know what model of toaster that was filmed with?
