Alright NS's I've seen a lot of threads in site discussion and such on, "How do I post pictures for my sale," or "How do I embed this video so I can show you guys my new edit." I also know there are a couple threads including how to do this, but this can be the official noob thread on how to do these things, so the forums aren't cluttered with these questions. Anyway lets start off with a simple picture from google images.

so you have your picture and it's link right there



all you have to do is copy the link, click on reply at the end of the thread you will see the usual reply box in the reply box say whatever you want to say. then you think, "A Pulp Fiction picture would be a great post to contribute to this thread so you get your link...

before the link type [img] after you type that in with NO spaces paste your link and after that with NO spaces type [/img]

Now your thinking, "Okay lukewalnuts ya we can all upload pictures from the internet but what if we want to post pictures to sell our gear," or, " I want to post a screenshot for the "Post a picture of your desktop thread." Okay this isn't very hard either!


So you take your sceenshot and everything is fine and dandy. You then go to http://imageshack.com/ a media uploader website.

you want to upload it so you browse for the image

here is where you should be



So you found the image and double clicked on so you see this



now all you have to click is upload now...

once it has uploaded you should see this



now all you have to do is copy the DIRECT LINK and then paste it with the same rules

Now your thinking " Ya lukewalnuts only noobs don't know how to post pictures I want to know how to post my terrible go-pro edit I mad with the rest of my 12 year old friends."

Alright, Alright this is easy too.

The first thing you do is find the video you want to embed. Let's embed a great short film created by a fellow NS'er eheath.

The first thing we need to do is find the embed button, on vimeo it is in the middle on the right side



click that button...

you will then see this...



from their post the embed code in the reply box on NS's and you should be good



YAY!!!!

Lastly, lets head over to youtube to listen to the greatest rapper of all time... MACKLEMORE!

First, you click share


Next, you click embed, you should then see the embed code



copy and paste that into the reply box and you should be good...

NOW LET'S JAM :)
