i completely disagree. porter had plenty of time to avoid that hit and he deliberately stuck that leg out knowing damn well what was about to happen. that's a pretty commonly known no no in hockey as it can be a career ender... i see nothing but intent to injure on a hit like this.

keith's elbow - retaliation? probably. but this shit happens all of the time in hockey. an elbow is WAY more acceptable than a deliberate knee to knee imo.

obviously it's your job to defend your team mates. but there are some lines. you shouldn't be defending someone's actions that could have easily made another player paralyzed for life.

I totally understand defending your team mates. If it was an acceptable hit and they're trying to get him for it by all means protect him. but the dude could have broken the guys neck. on purpose. you just don't defend someone for that.

marshmont and subban are probably close to the top of the list..the thing is though you would definitely want either of those players on your team

I'm not expecting that much on saturdays game..obviously the teams are fired up and the tone is already set for the series - I dont see either team really wanting to risk an injury that could put them out of the playoffs..either way im definitely going to be watching that game too

Also keep your eye on the bruins/sabres game on saturday - the sabres are probably gonna be pretty pissed at just missing the cut and why not take out some of that anger on the team that ran through your goalie like toliet paper and a team you have already had a bunch of scraps with this year
