Bettman said they aren't looked to expand or relocate for now but he said the same thing last year about the Jets. The only reason Winnipeg was chosen over Quebec is because they had an arena ready to go. Quebec's building a new arena now that will be ready in a few years but I think they're repairing the old Colisée to bring it up to standard.

Back then the rivalry was supposed to be crazy. Just look at the rivalries between teams that are in the same state/ province now, they hate each other. I can't wait to go see the habs play in Quebec.

Zetterberg said he felt a little "woozy" after webers hit. They did some baseline tests on him to make sure he's not concussed. Hypothetically speaking, If Z were to be concussed after that hit, Would Weber face a more serious fine and/or suspension?

What are your guys predictions for the nucks/kings series?? The game last night wasnt good for canucks offense, they were badly outshot and took too many penalties. I was there and everyone was giving it to the ref, but really some of those penalties werent bad calls like the bitz hit, had a perfect view of it and it was a headshot no doubt.

I ski for Sarah.

I would hope so. Some no name canuck gets 2 games, but because weber has a c on his jersey he just gets fined. he grabbed his head and bashed it off the glass for fuck sake

As a Canucks fan, I was pumped to see San Jose and Phoenix pull out the overtime wins. Looking forward to game 2 tomorrow in Van. Here's to hoping for monster performances out of Kesler and Bieksa!

Let's hope so, man that last game is getting me scared not necesarily because the kings are playing well but also because the canucks are playing brutally. I mean that was just hard to watch there, and even last years stanley cup finals weren't as bad but that was... bad. But i believe they can pick it up.

Also, went to the Rangers game tonight was one hell of a fun game to watch. The score doesn't necessarily tell the actual game I mean Ottawa was going pretty strong for some parts; like the start of the second and end of the third, but man did NY every put those chances they had away. Really entertaining in all, saying I really don't care about the winner. Atmosphere was great too except for the fact that the fans only cheered during certain times, but when they cheered man was it loud. I think it might be a close series but I think NY will take their home games.

How can a goalie be outperformed when he got a shutout? Holtby played fucking unreal, but Thomas was perfect. Both made some amazing saves, hopefully the Caps can generate some more offense for Game 2

Ya, I agree, the rangers really made no mistakes in that game. They seem like a really tough team, but I think if you can start some momentum on them you got a chance. The bruins vs caps series is more equal in my opinion. This year, a lot of the teams seem really equally matched, a lot of series where there is really no advantage.

Dale Hunter is a fucking tool. I agree they rely on star presence, which I think is so stupid. They should have 2 lines able to produce every game with all the talent available, and a ton of depth for their 3rd line in my mind. Guys like Chimera and Laich are perfect third line players, I don't know why Hunter tries them on the 1st line.. Backstrom needs to play with Ovechkin.. So many problems in the lineup for me. And Orlov (top 4 defencemen for sure for me) a healthy scratch when Hamirlik and Schultz are playing? Sure they played alright tonight but they're been blowing it all year and Orlov has been solid. And I won't even start on Mike Green...

DIX, I don't see how you can say Ottawa doesn't stand a chance. The game last night was proof to me, even if they lost, that Ottawa has a shot at this series. If it weren't for some stellar play from King Henrik and a couple opportunistic goals by the Rangers, the Sens would've been leading going into the third.

I know I sound like I'm grasping at straws but Ottawa could've won that game, we just need to score, you know, in the first 50 minutes of the game.

Found out last night I'm lucky enough to have nbcsn and cnbc on my cable package. Was flipping back and forth constantly between bos/caps and sj/sl. Found myself watching the san jose game as it was clearly more intense. Both pretty good games though.

Super stoked for game two against the pens tonight. Don't know how the flyers put up with the noise, sounds soooo fucking loud in that stadium. Gonna be another great game I'm sure.
