So I feel like no one listens to good hip-hop anymore, like the shit that is being made but no one listens too. So NS expand my ears to some good beats and ill and add some flows that might make you beat your meat..ha

I don't listen to this stuff because its boring and I don't relate at all to the struggles of the ghetto, the strong black woman, whatever else theyre talking about. Also, Ive heard all that from the artists who were around when hip hop was in its prime  (I've been listening to rap/hip hop for 16 years, and even then hip hop was dying out). The poetry aspect and the idea that hip hop is an important art form that will actually change things in the real world is a lot less appealing now than when I was an impressionable teenager. Now when I listen to rap I would much rather listen to an exciting, pounding beat with a guy talking about getting money and fucking sluts because those are at least things I can relate to. I wrote a lot which makes it seem like I'm hating but I'm really not, I think its cool you made a thread people like but theres no such thing as good or bad music.

agreed. not hating on the rhymes, these guys have mad talent, but it's nothing new, no unique flows, and hip hop and the rap game truly is dead. the guys who i enjoy are the mainstream dudes if i ever even listen to it. dorrough, rick ross, that type of shit. but there is so much better music out there in other genres right now
