Backflip help

alright i know this is a repost and everything but mines a bit different question. with the added weight on your feet is it harder to get your feet around then on a tramp? im ready to try one and i just kinda wanna know how i have to huck.

Yes it is harde but once you get your feet past your head they come around nicely.

i definitely flip a lot slower on skis than a tramp but i wouldnt say its harder because you are in the air so much longer it seems pretty much like it does on the tramp so all i can really say is giver and you should be fine just dont second guess yourself riding in because you know you can do it and you will do it

they are pretty much teh same thing, except a very common thing that happens on skis is that your tips will catch, yeah you will feel teh added weight at first, so dont make it super laid out first time
it is really alot like tramp other than that!

its easier to do them on skis because youre going off a lip which is already making you pop backwards, and while going up the ramp your rotation has already started cuz your going up the ramp. so theres actually less rotation when on skis than on a tramp. trust me its way easy just lean back and go for it.

build a good jump to practice. The jump helps with the rotation A LOT. The lip of the jump is sometimes the difference between catching your tips or stomping it...unless you are a little agile ninja like Carlson or something

No, just make sure you are going fast enough to easily clear the knuckle with room and you will be fine on any jump.

You don't need to huck, just lean back and look for that landing.  As long as the jump is at least 10 feet you should be fine.

yes exaactly i threw a couple done last year for the first time and i build a jump in some pow with quite a bit of kick and i didnt really hav to threw my self that hard the momentum dd alot \

so i just did a few there and then once i was comfortable just syked up and did it in the park and skiied out perfect first go i was stoked lol
