Skiing on acid

yo im gonna be in north lake (tahoe) for two weeks jus kickin it in truckee skiing everyday in january and am planning on dropping acid and skiing if it is a good idea.  so i used the search bar and there were tons of replys from a thread 2 years ago saying "bad idea blah blah"- most likely from people who have never tripped before so id like to hear some real advice from people who've tripped and also whove tripped skiing.  so if youve never even touched psychedelics dont bother posting you squares.  lemme know. peace

Maybe try dropping it and then doing just a few groomers and then decide, if ya really wana try it go ahead, but dont do anything to stupid an have a bad trip

When doing psychidelics, you don't want a lot of crazy things going on around you (ie. trees coming at you going 35 mph), especially when you risk getting injured.

Sit on a couch with a friend and stare at the wall. I don't recommend trying anything crazy.

I don't know about acid, but my first time ever tripping on shrooms i went skiing it was fun as hell. We skied around about a bit haulin ass an catching air off whatever, and flying felt so sick. everything just felt so smooth, then we went out to rock springs bowl and chilled on this cliff for a while tripping out. It was the springtime when i did it so it was nice and warm and the snow was soft. I would say just take it easy and see how you feel before you skiing anything gnarly. Skiing seems to make you concentrate so that helps you not space out and go bowling into a bunch a kids. But i've never taken acid so i don't know how the effects compare. you'll prob. be fine.

i think you would just become infatuated with the beauty and power of the mountain and you would feel immersed within the snow, apart of it; just floating; along with a ton of more powerful connections with nature. But i don't think you'd be on your A-game in the park...try it....tell us how it went

If you can handle yourself then youll probably be fine.  Dont do anything to push yourself though and lifts might be kinda scary but i know a guy who was candyflipping and snowboarding and he said it felt like he was flying and everyone he saw had a smile so he made smiles everywhere or some wierd shit.

Ive done shrooms and I wouldnt suggest doing that on shrooms but Im guessing the trip isnt much different on acid  so It probably wouldnt be a good idea cause i would rather just go on a hike or sit somewhere and watch everything.

i've done it and it's a great time.  just take a low dose- 1 hit as opposed to 3 or 4- and head for the trees.  once you start tripping, it's more like an epic journey and skiing's just a part of it.  it's hard to explain, but i'd definitely recommend it.

no they are way different.  shrooms are more of a mind think fuck.  On shrooms I would be myself and cry skiing.  Itd be cold and itd be scary.  not so much on acid

That is the most ignorant statement I've heard all week. Anyways, dumbass' aside, I think skiing on acid could have the possibility of a very cool experience, as long as you know what your doing. Now I personally would recommend not taking more than one tab the first time, just to see how you can handle everything while not absolutley tripping sac. I bet skiing would be awesome, the trees and the experience in general is a big mind opener. have fun man, stay safe.

yeah, burning holes in your brain is not what acid does.  but seriously, ecstacy has been proven to put pits in your brain, but i still feel fine.

and yeah, acid isn't that bad.  you can probably do it skiing, never really thought about it but it kinda sounds interesting.

Word to that. I've skier on shrooms once before, and it was fun. Only thing that sucked was it was windy and lightly snowing that day, and that really fucked with me on the lift. Also did E on a pow day once, but I think is too much physical activity for that drug, kills the effect. Was still fun though, pow skiing always is though.

if u wanna trip skiing go for it...i have no experience with pshycadelics but i mean if you're worried about it make sure you have 2 or 3 friends (sober) who know your state of mind so they can keep and eye on you...so then you'd most likely be fine

Agreed.  Why would you put not only yourslef, but everyone else on the mountain in danger.  Seriously dude enjoy skiing itself, you could fuck yours or someone else's life up.

i honestly think it'd be so fun long as you werent tripping super hard.. like that other dude said.. do a low dose and you'll be ready to shred all day.. but i fors ure wouldn't suggest going straight toward the trees.. feeling it out first in a wide open (peopleless) area may be best.. granted its all in how you can handle yourself

i like how almost all these kids have never even done drugs yet are advising against it.


if you are experienced with acid, and can handle the trips without freaking the fuck out, go for it. just stay away from crowds and trees. maybe do it on like a warm tuesday without crowds. just remember to take it easy, and keep the dose low.

my buddy is permafried from acid pretty bad.
he and his then girlfriend took 15 hits over the coarse of 2 days and just tripped the fuck out and had sex at the lake for hours.
sounds like it was fun.
he's not enjoying it anymore though.
