i think it's called sky fighters in english. It's like the French top gun, only it was based on a series that pre-dates top gun. Since it had a better budget and cooperation from the french air force, some of the aerial cinematography is absolutely spectacular. In top gun all but a few shots were done ground to air, whereas in this they mounted cameras on fighters and the results look awesome.

Just watched "The Life of David Gale"
read a couple critic reviews and quite a few didn't like it, but a lot of user reviews were good.
and i liked it, made me think, i thought the ending was good but not the type of movie you would watch twice.

Joy is the response of a lover receiving what he loves. This is the joy we feel when skiing powder... This overflowing gratitude is what produces the absolutely stupid, silly grins that we always flash at one another at the bottom of a powder run. We all agree that we never see these grins anywhere else in life.

such a mind fuck. I love Aronofsky. He's only had one major flop if you think about it. Pretty good for a filmmaker who emerged out of the the last few years before Y2K.
I'm eager to see his take on Wolverine 2 and robocop. He'll probably make such a crazy visual spin on things. He's got a great sense of frame and space.
