i'm not saying it's not true. it was however, a last-minute "let's do this" on a school night so i just threw the camera outside and turned it on, it's not like i was able to drive somewhere to find a good location. and i was satisfied enough on how well the stars came out.

300+ individual images taken between 11:30 and 1:30. Exposed each for 20 seconds and captured every 25 with intervalometer, stacked in post.

I used StarStax to stack them and Lightroom to process and edit

how did you stack them in post? i 260 images that i could do this with, but lack the knowledge. spent about 60 minutes googling how to do it on photoshop but couldnt figure it out.

yeah, if it's done right it looks pretty cool. I feel like it always makes an image look soft though, so it's something to be done sparingly.
