I agree, I never really watermark my stuff, but if you really want to protect it, then just put a giant one right across the middle. Turn the opacity down or something though so the photo is still visible, but really if you get a shot you really like and plan on uploading it somewhere I would just put a giant watermark on it.

I think if the first photo had less pavement in the foreground and was cropped down that way, it would definitely look better. Then it would be a great shot, in my opinion.

Looking at the second photo though, I really don't mind the composition of it. I mean, maybe a tad bit less dead space on the right side but I think it's a pretty solid photo already. I feel like the fact that the bikers are traveling from left to right, it's alright to have a little open space in front of them and it looks a little better. If he shot farther to the left and had any space behind the bikers, it would look awkward. Plus those guys are flying by, so it's hard to perfectly frame your shot right away in a situation like that. The colors aren't extremely "poppy" in the second one either so I think it might look wicked sick in a black and white too.

Just my opinion on those. I do like the shots though, and they are pretty good to begin with, but like you said, they could be a lot stronger with just little things in post processing.

I just wanted to show you what 2 seconds in photoshop could do, using content aware fill. If someone wanted to steal it, they could. That's why if you really want to protect it, put a giant water mark across it. I just threw it into black and whit because I just wanted to see how it would look, and what everyone else thought of it. Just because at first I thought black and white would look perfect for this picture, but now I'm not sure.

I hope you don't mind that I edited it. I just wanted to show what someone could do with the watermark if they wanted too, and what the black and white would look like.

Oh ok, I definitely see what your saying about watermarking it just to basically say it's yours, that makes total sense. Like you said too, if someone was going to steal it, they wouldn't have a very high resolution of it either, so I don't think anyone would steal it.
Content aware fill is pretty insane too. I'm still amazed by it, haha.

A couple older ones that I just found looking through my stuff

Wishing I closed down a bit more to get a starburst from the sun. Maybe have the sun on a third and silhouette on the opposite third for something a bit more interesting to look at.

Same with the starburst here. Not sure which one I'd prefer, but I would have liked to shoot both to see.

Not much to say about this one. A polarizer would have been nice.
