Timberline Lodge and Newschoolers.com, with support from Sweet Protection, have teamed up to create a unique event that the Pacific Northwest isn’t going to forget. It’s the first official NS member gathering to be held in our neck of the woods: the West Coast Session!

The Session goes down on April 28 at Timberline, where the park crew is preparing a custom-built terrain park just for the jam. Add in free lunch on the hill, a DJ, plenty of schwag to give out from Sweet Protection, and a wad of cash in $5 bills, and you’ve got yourself the first Newschoolers West Coast member gathering, going down West Coast style. There’s no formal comp, so don’t worry about dialing your switch cork 1440—just be ready to have fun and pick up some cash for the daffy with the best extension.

Oh, and don’t forget some of the top and up-and-coming park skiers in the world to ski the park with you! For three days prior to the event, April 25 through the 27th, Newschoolers has invited a small group of skiers to come session some of the biggest hits you’ll see in the Pacific Northwest this year, custom-built by the Timberline park crew for our cameras—so even if you can’t make it to the West Coast Session, you’ll still be able to see all of the action right here on NS!

We’re inviting some of skiing’s heavy hitters alongside the young talent we watch every day on NS, so the session should be hot. We’ll fill you in on the complete riders’ list as soon as it’s finalized! (Here are a few hints: Symms, Carlson, Davison, Raymond, Ager...)

We’re also extending invitations to some of the best riders to come up through NS over the years to come ride for the private shoot, April 25-27—if you can get here, we’ve got free accommodations for you courtesy of Windell’s Camp, so let us know if you can make it and join one of the best sessions of the year! The skiers invited are:
