In 2016 the organizers will open new chapter in the history of Polish Freeskiing Open - event that has been bringing together some of the best skiers from all over the Europe for 12 years. Henrik Harlaut, Paddy Graham, Oscar Scherlin, James Woods, Roy Kittler, Markus Eder, Jonas Hunziker, Cyrill Hunziker, Steffen Hamre, PC Fosse, Matti Till, Rico Schuler, Ponuts Penttila, Erik Lundmark – those are just few of many names one can find on the list of the PFO medalists.

On 19th and 20th of February 2016 the big jump build on the main slope of Kotelnica Białczańska - the most popular ski resort in Poland, located near Zakopane, two hours drive from Cracow airport - will be shared by skiers, snowboarders and bikers. The feature was designed in cooperation with Szczepan Karpiel – Bułecka and Janek Krzysztof, multiple Polish Championship medalists. Maciek Kiwak and Paweł Turno, experienced dirtjumpers and trailbuilders, will take care of the preparation of the big jump for the bikers. Six features known from previous editions of Polish Freeskiing Open will be used in a completely new rail set up built next to the kicker. Prizes worth over 7000 euro are waiting for the best riders in ski, snowboard and bike Big Air competitions and Ski&Snowboard Rail Jam. The event is a part of AFP World Tour and Polish Championship in Freeskiing.
