WHISTLER, BC, November 6, 2008 – Whistler Blackcomb has received 40 centimeters of new snow in the alpine over the last three days. The Environment Canada Alpine Forecast is calling for cooler temperatures and lower freezing levels early next week.

Construction of the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola is now complete and the world record-setting gondola looks awesome with its backdrop of snow-covered peaks.

Whistler Blackcomb’s official opening day is November 27 and with the long range forecast calling for heavy snowfall early next week snow conditions are shaping up to provide great early season skiing and snowboarding. The PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola opens December 12.
