Pop quiz hot shot! What winter event combines speed chainsaw carving, interpretive snowshoeing, fireworks, yoga, pancakes, skijoring, S’mores, live music, bump tips, dog sled racing and of course Aprés parties?  Uh, it’s the name of this post, the Winter Park Snowfest; if you couldn’t figure that out you should probably stay really far away from the speed chainsaw carving because you’re likely to hurt yourself.  But everyone else should get out there and have an awesome time!

Also known as the Winter Park Carnival and Grand Park Dog Days of Winter, this weekend event combines tons of activities with appreciation for our beloved dogs, and a celebration of Mary Jane’s (the mountain, not the product in head shops on every corner of Boulder and Denver) birthday!
