Much like the men’s slopestyle comp the women’s crown was just as hotly contested. But this time it was for a medal so there was much more to lose than the guys had from their comp earlier this morning. Kaya Turski was out to collect her 6th X Games Gold in a row (including Winter X Games in America and in Europe) but would she manage to do it with riders like Anna Segal and Devin Logan in good form? Well, it seems like she still has the magic!

Kaya managed to blow the field away with her second run that consisted of a switch 450 onto the box, a 540, switch left side 360 and a switch right side 720. This gave her a score of 9266 which no one else was able to beat and with it taking the gold medal for the sixth time. On her third and final run she wowed the crowd with a switch 1080, a trick only herself and Maria Bagge have landed and what a time to do it – on your victory lap!

This makes her the first person to three-peat in Winter X Slopestyle and it makes her the first Winter X athlete with a double three-peat in two Winter X events.

Another notable run has to be of the youngest women competing at Winter X Games Europe was from Dara Howell who, at 17, was delighted to win her first Winter X medal for coming in third place.
