Summer is upon us, which means Windells Camp is back in session for 2012! “The Funnest Place on Earth” has a 33% bigger park on hill this year, with features for all skill levels.

Summer for most is a sad snowless time, but not at Windells, where Session 1 campers got to shred powder in June along with riding the perfectly groomed park.

New events this summer include smashing food, Hawaiian shirts, and onion bobbing. All of them cause an overload of fun and exercise otherwise useless skills to get free product.

With varying snow conditions, the Windells Diggers made it happen day after day, ensuring the campers, staff and guest pros had the right features to progress each skill level.

The new kitchen crew has been killing it this year as well, cooking up new meals and still managing to ski every day and film for the session edits.

I hear Andy put magnets in his skis so he doesn’t come off early. But then again, it could just be some black magic. Photo by Erik Hoffman

Windells allows campers to ride all the 2012/2013 gear from a number of companies like Line, Full Tilt, Dalbello, Armada, Surface, etc.

Coaches film their campers every day so that when they get back to camp, the coaches can review the footage to see how their campers can improve their tricks and style.
