Registration is officially open! Here’s what they had to say in their press release!

The North Face Freeski Open of New Zealand has well and truly established itself as the largest multidiscipline open freeski event in the southern hemisphere. As one of the first events of the season for both the AFP World Tour and the Freeride World Tour many of the world’s top halfpipe, slopestyle and big mountain skiers will make the trip down to the beautiful Southern Lakes of New Zealand to compete.

To aid all the international competitors in their planning for the upcoming season the registration has opened up quite early for the TNFFSO and any skier interested in competing will now be able to register online for their disciplines. There will be an entry fee of 80 USD per discipline. Athletes looking to register for slopestyle or halfpipe simply have to head to http://www.register-for-events.com, build a profile, register for their discipline and pay using a number of different methods. Registration for the 3 Star FWQ at the Remarkables will open early June when the FWQ launches its new international registration system. This way all athletes are automatically entered into the FWQ ranking, ensuring streamlined athlete information across all FWT/Q events.

Registration for all events closes on the 15th of August, there are limited spots available and last year they filled up quickly, so to guarantee a spot athletes should register as soon as possible. Event invitations are currently being finalised, however any athlete in the top 20 of the AFP or FWT/FWQ rankings can email contact@twoseas.co and apply for prequalification in their discipline.

?Stay tuned for more information throughout the winter!
