Coca Cola T4 in Tremblant

It was a beautiful night inTremblant. Perfect weather and a great progressive concept, a mix team of 2 snowboarders and 2 skiers competing together in order to win Coca Cola T4 contest.

A total of 13 teams were in to create the best synchronized jumps and rails routine. Yeah, synchronized, in fact, this contest is a way for riders to jump together, at the same time, or not, and to create the best looking execution. Quite a challenge when you’re 4 people, 2 on rails, 2 on jumps…

With great teams such as ‘’Le retour des pantheres rose’’ with skier Alexis Godbout, Team Mcdo with leader JD Zicat and Team Bula with Vincent Gagnier and Cedric Tremblay-Fournier, there was enough talent over there to create a great show!

Indeed it was. While the crowd of Tremblant assisted to a great performance from all the team, there was a couple of team that really stood out; it was the case of Team Mcdo and Team Bula who were really holding it down. Vincent Gagnier was definitively in control with landing switch 1080’s over 1080’s  perfectly. JD Zicat showed everyone that he is part of the new breed of freeskiing with massive 9’s and 10’s and Cedric Tremblay-Fournier with nice 270 screaming seamen out the rail proved that old school is always hot.

The contest, a battle format, brilliantly described and organized by Phil Joyal, was a total success and was a real crowd pleaser. The final was pretty intense between Team Bula and Team ‘’le retour des panthers roses’’ but Team Bula managed to land all of their tricks perfectly and won the contest. The whole team won $8000 + 4 flight tickets from Air Transat. Vincent Gagnier, Guillaume Beaudoin, Matts Kullisek and Cedric Tremblay-Fournier killed it during all weekend long and deserved their victory!
