The crew on the final day of #SuperunknownXII

Ethan Swadburg

Q: Favorite Level 1 movie ?

A: Refresh

Q: Favorite session this week ?

A: I'm going to say the jump, just 'cause that's what I do.

Q: Favorite trick of yours ?

A: The first switch dub I did, it was the biggest switch dub I've ever done.

Q: Favorite trick you've witnessed ?

A: I'm gonna go with Jonah's [270]on to switch on the railzilla, first try.

Q: Favorite Superunknown winner?

A: Wallisch or Brogan I guess.

Martin Solhaugen

Q: Favorite Level 1 movie?

A: Eye Trip

Q: Favorite Superunknown winner ?

A: Of course Wallisch

Q: Dream destination you want to go to someday ?

A: Japan, to go urban skiing, not to go backcountry skiing. I feel like there's so much more that can be done [there].

Q: Have you ever submitted a video for Superunknown before?

A: No 'cause I wanted my entry to go all the way.

Ethan and Gabe, along with the rest of the crew, proved they were still the best skiers on the mountain, even without snow

Q: Favorite Level 1 movie?

A: Refresh, definitely. It's so unique I think, there's so many different kind of styles.

Q: Favorite Level 1 segment?

A: Corey Vanular in Long Story Short, that's the best ever.

Q: Favorite Superunknown winner?

A: I guess I have to say Corey Vanular again. He won back in the day. I really enjoy watching him ski. It's so cool that he was on top of his game like in 2007, and then he disappeared for like... five years. And suddenly he just came back and he's killing it more than ever.

Q: If you could build your dream park feature, what would it be?

A: Maybe kind of the one I didn't get to hit. The rail, to ditch, to gap to down rail, but with a bigger flat rail, to a bigger ditch, to a more poppy jump, to another down rail.

Vegard Hokstad

Q: Favorite Level 1 movie?

A: I think last year's was really sick. Less might be my favorite

Q: Favorite Superunknown winner ?

A: Corey Vanular. He's still one of my favorite riders. Also LSM.

Q: Favorite trick of yours this week ?

A: One of the bio 9s I did with the tweaked safety grab. Maybe that was my favorite trick that I got to land. I also did a backside cork-ish 450 out of the rail feature on the first day, [...] it felt kinda cool.

Danny, the FilmerUnknown winner, demonstrates how to do a Mexican hat dance. If you couldn't tell, he's from Russia...

Ben Smith

Q: Favorite Level 1 movie?

A: Eye Trip

Q: Favorite Superunknown winner ?

A: Either Wallisch or LSM

Q: If you could build your dream park feature, what would it be?

A: A step-up just like the one we had here, but bigger and into a quarter-pipe.

Q: Fun-fact related to skiing?

A: Maybe where the name of our Bad Meets Evil series comes from? Evil 'cause Ethan steels tricks, and Bad 'cause - Ethan says " 'cause you're bad at skiing (laughs)".

Alec Nelson

Q: Favorite Superunknown winner ?

A: Wallisch, because at the time [his entry] was the most mind-blowing thing. It was just the best thing ever.

Q: Favorite Level 1 movie?

A: Long Story Short, just because of like... Corey Vanular. It's just legendary.

Q: If you could build your dream park feature, what would it be?

A: It would probably be that step-up, three or four times bigger. Just a huge step-up.

Q: Favorite session this week ?

A: I think the jump session was pretty fun. I hadn't had a jump session like that all year. [...] But that step-up was also super fun. I'd say the step-up was probably the most fun. Seeing Jamie [Walter] super hyped on all the photos (laughs), just freaking out after every photo.

Jonah pops some celebratory champagne with the boys after the winner's announcement. Congrats Jonah!

Jonah Williams

Q: Favorite Level 1 movie?

A: Turbo. That's just the time I was getting into skiing, where I thought that shoot at Mount Hood on that big jump [...] was the sickest thing I'd ever seen, at the time.

Q: Favorite Superunknown winner ?

A: Definitely Wallisch, just 'cause of how much he's done with it since then. That was the first edit I ever saw of Wallisch. I was in 7th grade at lunch and my friend was like "Yo have you heard of Tom Wallisch? You should check out this edit when you get home." And I copied the link to it, well I wrote it down, 'cause I didn't have a smartphone, obviously.

Q: Favorite session this week?

A: Well jump session was my favorite until the step-up happened. Then definitely the step-up.
