It's that time of year again, and it's one of the biggest times of the year. The SIA tradshow in Denver, Colorado and Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado are kicking off tomorrow, and naturally, Newschoolers is going to be on hand at both, working our busy lil' buns off to keep all of you informed on anything and everything that's going down between now and Sunday. Here's the lowdown...

This year's SIA has been moved from its longtime home in the City of Sin, Las Vegas, Nevada to the Mile High City, Denver, Colorado (yeah we know, we're not in love with the idea either, but we're still going to act like we're in Vegas, so look out Denver!), and we're going to have such a motley content crue in attendance covering it for you that we'll look probably end up looking like skiing's version of Entourage while walking around the show (Mr. Bishop is Turtle).

Denver. Where's the blackjack tables and strippers?

For those of you who don't know, the SIA tradeshow takes place annually at the end of January and is the biggest ski and snowboard retail show in North America. It's where all the companies show off their next year's gear and hock it to shops across North America, and usually there's a party or two...or 27.

NS will be bringing you daily coverage on the show, where we'll be hooking you up with photos and NSTV videos complete with as many details as we can muster on all 2010/2011 gear. The show begins tomorrow, so get ready for daily in depth updates on all the fun.

NSTV returns at SIA.

Also, you've heard about that new thing called Twitter that all the kids are doing right? Well Newschoolers is all over it, but we're feeling a bit emo over the fact that we only have 2,000 followers when there's over 200,000 different people coming to NS every month. So here's your chance to sign up, because we'll be busting out a ton of rapid fire updates live from the tradeshow floor with 140-character tidbits of info and plenty of photos, so you can stay on top of everything that's going down while waiting for us to upload 100+ photos at once in the daily updates. So don't be behind the times...follow us now at Twitter.com/Newschoolers!

And just down the road from Denver in Lloyd Christmas' favorite Colorado town...a place where the beer flows like wine and where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano...Aspen, Winter X Games 14 will be going off like never before, beginning tonight! And even though the Superbowl of action sports is going down on the exact same days at SIA, we'll be there too, thanks to a top-secret human cloning machine we borrowed off the Rolling Stones' management team.

Practice has been going off over the last couple of days, and if what's been taking place is any indication, things are about to get real, real serious. TJ Schiller has called the slopestyle course the best one he's ever skied at X Games, and the 22-foot immaculate superpipe is looking a touch longer than usual, which could make for even more trickery than we've seen in the past.
