The Village at Blue gets pumped for the 4th Annual Rock Star Rail Session Brought to you by SKYY Vodka The word is on the street, The Village is pumping out another Rail Session, this year in the centre of the Events Plaza February 24th 2006! Rock out in the Village as we host the 4th Annual Rock Star Rail Session brought to you by SKYY Vodka! Come out and enter in the rail sessions, or watch as the area’s most talented riders battle the rails for a $4000 cash purse! The event is taking place in the centre of the Village at Blue Events Plaza, built on a snow scaffolding set up, with a challenging Urban Rail Arena. Currently under construction, the Urban Rail Arena is the brand new addition to the eventSing family. This unique rail set up is heading this way and will be ready for some hard and fast action from the riders as they head down a 15 foot in-ramp, hitting the Urban Arena rails, built by the one and only Jimmy Brace. Awesome tracks will be spun by DJ Ian and the event will be announced by the infamous MC Houghton while the judges do their work for the tricks battled out by the riders. Catch the crusade as the riders attempt to grab some extra dough for the SKYY SWYCH BEST TRYYCK worth $1000 cash! Registration is at Boardsports from 5:30pm-6:30pm with a charge of $20.00 for all pro skiers and snowboarders. The 2005 winners of the Rock Star Rail Jam are invited to join in and are pre qualified to the finals. A Vendor Village will be set up around the session site for demos and information with the industry’s hottest suppliers! You will be Rocked with up and coming band MONEEN playing on the stage at 9:00pm with special guest CHOKE getting you in the groove. Don’t forget to be the Rock Star at the After Party and Boardsports Fashion Show at 10:00pm. Dress up for awesome prizes! UVMFST's Triple Crown Rail jam is back for the 16/17 season, new and improved. Titled, "Design and Ride," competitors and members of the ski community can create and submit their own design for the rail jam course, with the winning design being built and featured in the jam.
