RED ANNOUNCES DATES OF THE 2011 CANADIAN OPEN FREESKIING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Open Senior and Junior Competitions to be held January 12th through January 22nd.

ROSSLAND, B.C. – RED Mountain Resort is pleased to announce the dates of the 2011 Canadian Open Freeskiing Championships.

Senior Open

Wednesday, January 12 - Registration & Course Inspection

Thursday, January 13 - Qualifications

Friday, January 14 - Semi Finals

Saturday, January - 15 Finals

Junior Open

Thursday, January 20 - Registration & Course Inspection

Friday, January 21 - Qualifications

Saturday, January - 22 Finals

This year’s Open will be the 10th anniversary of international freeskiing competition at RED, Western Canada’s first ski area. A huge favorite amongst athletes, spectators, media, the industry, staff and sponsors, the event continues to reign as Canada’s premiere big mountain freeskiing championship.
