Ike Smith here with a little update on my recent trip to North Cascade Heli Skiing with the Nimbus Independent crew.  We arrived on January 5th to lots of snow falling and an epic cabin 1/2 mile from the heli pad.  The crew of skiers were myself, Eric Pollard, Pep Fujas, Andy Mahre, and Bryce Phillips.  We spent about half our time on snowmobiles and the other half in the heli with our pilot Seamus, who enjoyed scaring the crap out of us by flying right next to huge jagged peaks all while not spilling his tea.  These were easily the most beautiful mountains I have ever seen in my life, it made me feel very small in this world, which is hard to do as I am 6 ft 5 in tall.  Anyhow, the snow was stable, the crew was killing it and now it is time for some rest and recuperation before our next mission to that one place where the snow falls light and fluffy and the sun is always shining. Till then, over and out, enjoy the pictures...
