This shot was taken on my trip to Edmonton in 2010 with Poorboyz productions. You can see the full article about the trip HERE. It was the first night of a 2 week trip and temperatures were about -20 degrees Celsius. The temperature didn’t seem to trouble my flashes at all, but I had major issues with my Pocketwizards , one of them wouldn’t even work when it was 5 feet from the camera! I used a pink colored gel duct taped over the front of my Elinchrom Ranger A head and then also a small homemade snoot fitted onto a Nikon SB-80DX. The snooted sb-80 was aimed at the yellow railing to flash that with regular colored light to help pick it out from the pink light.
