Heavenly Mountain Resort today announced it is adding the High Roller Nightlife Terrain Park to the mountain's night offering at the California Lodge area. The park will be open this season from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. every Thursday through Saturday, debuting in mid-December.High Roller Nightlife will feature the quality hits, rails and funboxes that riders have come to expect from Heavenly's High Roller Terrain Parks, along with frequent rail jam competitions and a DJ spinning tunes."High Roller Nightlife should instantly become the most-talked-about terrain park at Lake Tahoe," said Heavenly COO Blaise Carrig. "We've heard a lot of comments from local kids and parents who want something other than race training to do in the evening. This is an incredibly fun and healthy resource for locals and guests alike."The park will be located off the World Cup chairlift next to Heavenly's California Lodge, and will offer innovative boxes, rails and features, all under the lights. The park will be open to season passholders, as well as to those who buy a full-day lift ticket. A special adult, teen and child Nightlife tickets will also be available for those who want to ride the park for one night.New for this season, Nightlife builds on a long tradition of nighttime activities held on World Cup. "Heavenly has always had night skiing at World Cup, whether it be the local RATS races, race team training or rail jams," said new Heavenly terrain park manager Rob Giustina, a South Lake Tahoe native. "As the world has shifted more towards freestyle and terrain parks, we've added Nightlife to Heavenly's evening offerings."Giustina was Sierra-at-Tahoe's original terrain park manager in the early '90s, and is well-known in the industry for events such as Vans Triple Crown of Snowboarding Tour and Championships, NBC's Gravity Games, USASA Nationals, US Speed Skiing Championships, and ESPN's Freeride Championships"This new nighttime terrain park really shows Heavenly's commitment to snowboarding," said Heavenly Freeride Team snowboarder Jimmy Halopoff. "Nightlife will be an awesome place to hang out and ride."About Heavenly High Roller Terrain Parks Heavenly Mountain Resort offers skiers and riders four terrain parks and one super pipe all under the High Roller brand. The High Roller Parks are designed to help riders progress from beginner to expert, with features designed for each level. High Roller California is located off the Canyon chairlift on the California side and is for advanced riders. It is also the home for the South Shore Soldiers camp each spring.  High Roller Super Pipe is located at the top of the Powderbowl chairlift on the California side, and will be Lake Tahoe's largest pipe, cut with the new 22-foot Zaugg pipe cutter. High Roller Stateline is located off the Tamarack chairlift on the California/Nevada border. It features medium-sized hits, rails and fun boxes for the experienced rider.
