A few of skiing's favorite pros, LJ Strenio, Cody Townsend, and Sandy Boville had the chance to act as stunt doubles in the newest Vin Diesel movie, xXx: Return of Xander Cage. As many of you may or may not know, this isn't the first time we've had a representative of the freeskiing community be a stunt double in Hollywood. Rick Sylvester, an accomplished skier and ski-BASE jumper, filled in during the James Bond Movie The Spy Who Loved Me.
As LJ stated in a Facebook post upon the release of the official trailer, "We aren't allowed to post any of our pictures or media about the shooting of the film so we've kept quiet, but now that the trailer's dropped I'm super excited to post it up! I got to spend a few weeks this winter being Vin Diesel's stunt double for the new triple X movie and a ton of it made it into the trailer. Look out for some stories, photos and video clips from the whole experience next winter after the movie is released! Huge thanks to Sweetgrass Productions for the opportunity."
Pretty rad to see some of our favorite pros getting the chance to do rad shit in Hollywood!
