When did you start skiing, and at what point did you decide to pursue it?

I started skiing at 2 and a half and actually started snowboarding at 7 but always kept doing both. At 13, I saw the movie Propaganda and thought freeskiing was the coolest thing ever! That's when I got my first pair of twins!

What was it like being a part of freeskiing in the Olympics?

The Olympics/Sochi were simply crazy..! It all felt like a wild dream. Couldn't be happier I got to be apart of it and help put my own touch in showing the world what an amazing sport Slopestyle Skiing is! :)

How do you feel about the current state of women’s slopestyle?

I think women slopestyle skiing is at a very exciting place right now! There's a mix of generations going on and the progression is really amazing! It's definitely the most competitive it's ever been. There's me, Ash and girls like Keri who have been there for a while and still want to perform and peak but then you have this entire new generation of young girls that are hungry to make a name for themselves and push the sport to a new place..! There's no more place for a classic 360 in contest, girls are spinning all four ways now and the rail game is reaching a new level!

Besides skiing, what else occupies your everyday life?

Lots of different things, of course there's the gym that a big part of my life but or else, I'm a big sports fan! I love watching sports, especially Hockey! Go Habs Go! I also love gardening, playing poker, pool and petting my cats! haha!

What are your biggest aspirations for your ski career?

That's a good question. I'm really happy with my competitive season last year and I feel like alot of my goals, comp wise, have been somewhat achieved. But don't get me wrong you get use to winning and I definitely want more of it! Like an X Games gold would be really, really rad ;) Or else, I have certain ideas and goals that I've written down with urbans, hoping to concretize them in the next couple seasons :)

What’s the vibe like at Nine Queens?

Nine queens is awesome! Granted there's a big air event, but to me it's more of a big week of fun with all the girls! The vibe is soo good! All the girls are there with a big smile on their faces. We all want to have fun, ski and progress! Can't wait :).

What’s your favorite feature to hit?

That's a good question, I used to always reply rails to this question..! Now I don't know if I have a favorite, I love playing on anything with my skis :)

Who has been your biggest inspiration in the ski industry?

Jp Auclair. I wouldn't be where I am today if we hadn't cross paths!

How did you get hooked up with line? What part about representing them are you most excited about?

Well few years ago after I had decided to leave Armada for personal reasons, I thought about which I saw myself rocking. Few companies came to mind but Line was the one that I thought fitted the most. My first pair of twins were Line's (they had a sick afro dude with a comb on them) and wanted to go back to my roots. So I emailed the team manager for skis and that was the beginning of the relationship. Happy that it is now official :).

I'm really excited about being on Line. I like the product and the team but also their ideas if that make sense. It's always original and the riders really get to express their creativity.

Any other thanks or shout outs?

Thanks to my family and friends for sticking with me through the years..! It wasn't all sunshine and I'm really grateful they kept believing in me and supported me. I also want to thank my sponsors: Oakley, Line, Collège Jésus-Marie de Sillery, D-Structure, Komforto and also shout outs to Simply Straws a reusable glass straw company for whom I am an ambassador!
