I had the pleasure of attending the 1st Annual Hummingbird Music & Arts Festival which took place Wednesday at the Showcase Live in Patriot’s Place next to Gillette Stadium. The festival, which showcased local musicians & artists, was in memory of Elizabeth Giordano, who passed away in May of last year from a car accident in Vermont. All of the ticket sales, raffle items and silent auction proceeds will go to a scholarship fund set up in Elizabeth’s name at Curry College.
Sheila Giordano, mother of Elizabeth, takes the stage to raffle off items donated to the Festival by area businesses.
A local dance studio performs during the intermission between music acts.
