CODA'S CANADA OLYMPIC PARK ENTERS EXCLUSIVE PARTNERSHIP WITH ROSSIGNOL- Rossignol Demo Centre launch on Saturday -   Canada Olympic Park is excited to be working together with Rossignol, an icon in winter soft and hard goods, to build the sport of skiing within Calgary.  This exclusive partnership aims to attract and retain new skiers to the sport and will be greatly enhanced by Rossignol's specialized equipment, designed to progress skiers up through the various skill levels.  Having Rossignol equipment for our rental customers is a great benefit in helping them appreciate and enjoy the sport.  Many of the people who come in the Rental Shop are usually quite new to skiing, so for them to learn on this quality equipment makes a big difference, explains Heather Robertson, Canada Olympic Park's director of recreation. For the adults, the beginner or Discover program skis are short and wide.  They come in a 118 or 138 length that advances an adult starting off from the snowplow to being able to parallel ski.  The Next Step skis for adults come in a 130 or 180 length.  The appropriate flex in children's skis is where Rossignol differs from many other brands that are usually quite stiff. Rossignol has been around for 100 years - a company that celebrates its long-time passionate commitment to the ski industry by offering a tried and true brand.  Come out to Canada Olympic Park this Saturday to try out the latest in the Rossignol 2007-08 line-up at the Demo Centre from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can also find Rossignol softgoods in the Slopestyle retail store, located at the Park.  They carry a host of Rossignol jackets, pants, goggles and gloves. What:  Rossignol Demo Centre Launch When:  Saturday, December 15  10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Where:  Canada Olympic ParkMain Ski HillÂ
