Brick and Mortar is Salt Lake City?s newest and first, skateboard only shop. Opening in 2010, Brick and Mortar is keeping the good times rolling. Not only do they supply the best and most core brands of the skate industry, including Habitat, Es?, HUF, Blueprint, BLVD, and RAW. Brick and Mortar is giving back to the skate community by holding premiers of the newest skate videos and hosting art shows. They recently started back in November with the Photo/Illustration Art Show 1.0, including art from photographers Weston Colton and Sam Milianta plus illustrations from Colt Bowden and Tobal Keller. They are continuing with the art shows by hosting the Board To Lose Art show, which was earlier this month.

One man, Hondo, runs brick and Mortar. Hondo is a character and is always keeping the stoke alive. He doesn?t deal with the bullshit in the skate industry and that?s what sets his shop apart from the rest. He chooses with brands to sell and what brands to politely ?fuck off?.  With a dude such as Hondo controlling the shop, Brick and Mortar is bound to make an impact on Utah?s skate scene.
