Boreal Opening on Friday

Boreal Mountain Resort has been firing the snow guns for the last two days and is now set to spin lifts for the first time this season. Boreal will be running the Nugget Double Chair lift (The Biggest Little Chair in the West) beginning on Friday, October 29th from 9am – 4pm. This will grant Boreal bragging rights to being the first resort open in California for this season. Boreal will increase operations for Saturday and Sunday, October 30th – 31st, by spinning the Castle Peak Quad from 9am – 4pm offering 2 park lines.

In honor of opening day, lift tickets will only cost $15 for all ages. For Saturday and Sunday lift tickets will increase to $30 for adults/teens and $15 for children.

To celebrate this season’s first day of shred, Boreal will host the 6th annual Jibassic Public Invitational (JPI.6) on October 29th from 5pm – 8pm. JPI has evolved from a pro invitational rail jam into an on-mountain celebration of early season shredding. This season Boreal will be handing out $1K cash in $10 bills for tricks, spills and good times. Come shred under the lights, earn some cash and work-out those early season cobwebs.

Boreal’s early season operations will continue as conditions permit. Keep an eye or http://www.rideboreal.com and http://www.borealterrainpark.com for details.
