The Austrian Freeski Open is one event that’s always etched into the diary and this year I’m hoping for bigger and better things! The Kitzsteinhorn Snowpark is setting up two lines this year that are split between the Pro Line and the Medium Line. The pro line offers an obstacle exclusively shaped for the event, a jib bowl with a 6-metre straight rail and a 7-metre down rail combo. A 9-metre elephant rail, a 15-metre roller and a 17-metre kicker follow. The medium line for the ladies and rookies provides several boxes, a 10-metre and a 13-metre kicker and a spine with a tank.So as you could probably tell it’s already started out in an epic fashion so why not have the athletes to match? Yeah, they’ve sorted that out too. Jossi Wells, Elias Ambuhl, Andreas Hatveit and Ian Cosco top the superstars list with plenty more riders filling up the spare spaces. Make sure you keep your eyes focused on SkiUnion as we’ll be having highlight as and when they come in!AFO 11 – Trailer 1 >>Related posts:Austrian Freeski Open Highlights Video of all the best action from the Austrian Freeski...Jossi Wells wins the Austrian Freeski Open 2010!
