Yo guys just thought I'd give you an update of what's been going down in Utah this month. So this year has been feeling rather bare for the wasatch range. With the end of the resort season coming up I was starting to feel pretty doubtful of getting any more pow turns this season. News was that a low pressure system was rolling through bringing precipitation but from recent systems rolling through I figured it would drop a half a foot on us or miss us all together. That seemed to be the pattern this season. But forecasts kept calling for more and more snow and before I knew it was chest deep getting face shots every turn. It was dope because it would pow for 2 days straight and then be sunny and do the same thing over again and it seemed like the sun would always poke its head out at the end of the day to make for some sunny runs as well. Luckily my buddy mike smith hooked it up with the go-pro so I could capture my perspective of the storm. I was pretty stoked with the outcome of my first go-pro edit. check it out![vimeo]april pow from matt heffernan on Vimeo. And if you haven't checked out Boone's 2010/2011 lineup..peep it! http://issuu.com/boone_skis/docs/boone-skis-lookbookHave a good rest of the season for those with snow and a dope summer to those who don't.
