After yesterday’s victory in the halfpipe, the American duo thought it would only be right to win the slopestyle as well!

Firstly though, the course: Urban rail set with 3 options for the first platform followed by a jib jump platform with a pole jam, tractor tyres and a 45 foot jump. After that was a 55/45 jump, a 65/55 jump and then, to end, the Air New Zealand Lily Pad.Kenworthy’s winning run consisted of a dub cork 12 mute, rodeo 630 off the cannon box, double cork 1260 mute into a switch right 10 tail grab, into a switch 540 onto the lily pad and a rodeo 540 out. ?It felt great to win again today, fingers crossed I?ll do the same on Saturday in the Big Air.? – Gus Kenworthy. 87.75 was one hell of a score to take the win.Much like the halfpipe comp, Jossi Wells closely followed Kenworthy to the podium. He ended up with an 83. Better than his score on the halfpipe but still not enough to push Kenworthy off the top spot. Much like yesterday’s halfpipe comp, Wells was sandwiched between two yanks. Third place was taken by Nicholas Goepper. He was the only person who linked left and right doubles out of the top 3. He finished with a score of 81.25.Not only did Gus Kenworthy take the winning spot again but Devin Logan followed him there too. She started out with a lop slide to switchout on the downrail, frontside to 270 out on the up cannon box and then switch 5 to cork 7, to a straight on 360 out. 79.75 points and the top spot, why not! Kim Lamarre was in second with 79.25, just .5 off of Logan’s score. 3rd was Dara Howell with 70.5.Related posts:100% Pure NZ Winter Games 2011: Gus Kenworthy and Devin Logan win Halfpipe Gus Kenworthy and Devin Logan complete a total American domination...100% Pure New Zealand Winter Games 2011: A taste of things to come Tim Pierce gives us a taster of what's in store...100% Pure New Zealand Winter Games 2011: A taste of things to come – #2 I don't normally cover alpine skiing but when it's to...
