I just got back from the a mountaineering trip, the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, and then hanging out with a good friend in Aspen all in one long trip to find that Newschoolers has now surpassed 100,000 members. Congrats to Doug and company for helping make Newschoolers into what it is and bringing over 100,000 people together for the love of a sport that has become a way of life for so many of us.

Also, a big congrats to the whole NS crew for the deal that was struck. You guys deserve to make money doing what you love. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication.

This entry wouldn't be complete without a special shoutout to Harvey, who started it all. Harvey, you were runnin the show before my time, but I can still appreciate the man who started it all!

Well, I'm off to lead a week long trip through the Sangre De Christo Range and Great Sand Dunes National Park. It's going to be less than 12 hours between trip from the last one to the next one. Summers as a Wilderness Instructor=craziness...but hey, I get to do what I love.

Peace and Love Newschoolers
