Mountain Biking
Last Saturday I headed up to Deer Valley resort with Ethan Taft. While the terrain at Deer Valley provides relatively tame and unexciting skiing, the same terrain makes for some of the most fun and exhilarating mountain biking in the state. The trails are not full of berms and table tops, but rather chunder, baby heads, and shark teeth. Skiing in July
The last month has consisted of surfing, climbing, hiking, mountain biking, wakeboarding, whitewater rafting and waterskiing. A few random snow days have been strewn in the mix, but for the most part I haven't skied much since May. Pictures from Climbing
It has been years since I have put on a harness and attempted to push and pull myself up a rock wall. Yesterday I got the chance to get back into it. Hopefully it won't be years and year until I get to do it again. It is a lot of fun. Here are some pics of a 5.10a and a 5.11 that we got! I was hoping that I would have a chance to edit some of my thanksgiving footage before my final exams snuck up on me. I failed. I will get some editing done over Christmas. Brighton received something like 50" of snow the week of Thanksgiving. It made for some excellent skiing. Every lift on the mountain was open by Thanksgiving day. That does not happen often. Tons of Snow
It snowed over 4 feet in some parts of the Wasatch Mountains this week. I unfortunately was stuck in school working on a few projects that are due next week. Fall Break
Law school has kept me pretty busy the last month or so, I have still gotten some good footage, but most of my time has been spent in front of books. Water Ramps
Jeff and I went up to the water ramps in Park City this week to practice some tricks. We have gone before, and it is a really good time. If you have never been, I highly recommend you check it out. No More Edits From this Winter
I know that I promised a March and an April edit...but my RAID 5 drive failed and I lost all of my ski footage from March-May including but not limited to: 30 foot cliffs, misty flips, and double tomahawks in death chute.Hopefully I can get some cool Mountain Bike and Wakeboarding stuff up here..man..i am bummed [...]
