yeah baker should be open for easter weekend, so thats good news and also their will be some fresh snow to build jumps or set up rails at the other hills

direct from bakers website:
It's starting to look like winter again on the mountain! Forecasts are calling for 6 - 10 inches of snow by Thursday, then snow showers for the next few days until the next front hits us on Sunday night, which should give us 10-14 inches total of new snow. At that point, we will assess how it looks to re-open by Thursday or Friday of next week (March 24-25). So be prepared to fire back up, 'cause the Easter Bunny may be back for the Egg Hunt! Also, we had a fun weekend last Saturday and Sunday, with lots of sunshine and great events! Check out the gallery for photos of Baker's Box Battle and the Komo Kids Races. Lots more photos will be posted on Wednesday.

Winter came late this year, and i had a little talk with Mr winter, it went like this...

Me: hey winter, how ya been?
Winter: hot, how about you?
Me: pissed off at you all season!
Winter: oh yea sorry about that, i didnt wake up from my summer sleep till a few days ago.
Me: no shit????
Winter: yea, but ill make it up to you this spring...i was thinkin maybe 200+ inches in the next month
Me: sounds good...just make sure next year you wake up..
Winter: no worries, i will

snoqualmie might though. they havent flat out closed like stevens. apparently they could open for the next weekend? well, from their website "A spring storm brought in 20 inches of new snow. Don't give up on winter yet! All lifts are currently closed until we receive more snow."

im glad that it is back. im reppin baker and last time they got lots of snow i was on vacation and what do u know this week they gonna get pounded and umm ya im in cali. hope i can hit up bear but i hope the snow will be there when i get back on saturday. so ya smoke dope and hit the slopes.

yea and i emailed the general manager and asked if they will even reopen if they get enough snow. and he said if they have enough snow to create a base they will.

Ahhhh!! i'm excited! i hope stevens will at least considering opening just for a little bit, but reopening anywhere would be great! whistlers getting snow too! and i'll be there april 7th!!
